The Conestoga Condors Women's Basketball team (1-5) had a tough week and lost against the Lambton Lions (3-3) and the No. 8 ranked St. Clair Saints (6-0).

The game started with a tightly contested opening quarter; 10-8 for the Lions. The Lions started to pick in the second and third quarters and started to push their lead. The Condors were never able to reduce the deficit. The Condors lost the game with a final score of 57-42.

Charlotte Clifford scored 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 steals. Olivia Coomber scored 10 points and grabbed 11 boards securing the double double.

24 hours later, the Condors played a second home game against the Saints. After a slow start the Condors improved their offensive play in the second quarter. It wasn't enough to keep the Saints the quite. The Condors lost their second home game this week with a final score of 73-43.

Ramla Abdalla had an incredible performance and was the highest-scoring player in the game and setting a career high with 26 points. Olivia Coomber scored 8 points and secured 11 rebounds.

The Condors will be playing an away game against Mohawk (3-2) on Wednesday, March 2, at 6 pm. The Condors will be playing their last regular season game at home against the Bruins on Friday March 4. You can watch the game live here: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/conestoga/
