These fitness classes enable you to stay fit and healthy with amazing instructors throughout the term!

Registration opens exactly two weeks before the class date.

How To Sign Up: Click the register button below each class to sign up for the class. 

Membership: You must have an active full membership. For more information click here.

Cost: FREE, Available to all current Conestoga full-time Doon and Cambridge Students!

Location: All fitness classes take place in the Multi-purpose Room

What You Need: Water bottle and comfortable clothing.

Student Success Week: Classes will run during Student Success Week from Monday October 21st to Friday October 25th  

No Fitness Classes: Monday October 14th (Thanksgiving)

Strength Train 101 

Mondays @ 4:00pm-5:00pm 
Instructor: Emma Clark 

Looking to build lean muscle, feel stronger, and boost your confidence? Join Emma on Wednesdays for an energy-packed class designed to help you achieve your fitness goals. This session incorporates a variety of exercises using dumbbells, accessories, and body weight movements to enhance strength, endurance, and overall performance. Step into your Peak Performance and transform your fitness journey!


Zumba 

Mondays @ 5:00pm-6:00pm
Instructor: Gargi Patel

Zumba is a fun dance based interval workout that helps you de-stress while enjoying music. The classes move between high and low-intensity dance moves designed to get your heart rate up and boost cardio endurance. Zumba targets many different muscle groups at once for total body toning. You not only get aerobic benefits (it really gets your heart rate up), you also get anaerobic benefits – the kind that help you maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system. Zumba is perfect for everybody and every body!


Boxercise for Beginners

Instructor: Kurtis Proksch

Boxercise for Beginners is a great introduction to a boxer’s workout. Join Kurtis to learn wrapping techniques, shadow boxing, heavy bag work, footwork, and core exercises in a fun, motivating environment. Open to all levels, this boxing-inspired workout focuses on cardiovascular training, muscular strength, and endurance. Get ready to air box with foundational moves like jabs, uppercuts, hooks, and kicks. It’s a heart-pumping, full-body workout that’s sure to pack a punch!


Boxercise Intermediate 

Tuesdays @ 5:00pm-6:00pm
Instructor: Kurtis Proksch 

Boxercise Intermediate is a dynamic, cardio-based, non-contact boxing workout designed to challenge and invigorate. You’ll engage in exercises that develop speed, power, agility, and endurance. Join Kurtis as he leads you through a variety of boxing drills, including footwork, shadow boxing, bag work, and ab exercises. Each session focuses on fitness and toning, ensuring a comprehensive workout that targets all major muscle groups. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, this class offers a fun and motivating environment to improve your overall fitness and boxing skills.

Pilates

This session focuses on improving core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness through a series of controlled movements. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Hemangi will guide you through exercises that enhance your posture, balance, and muscle tone. Come ready to challenge yourself and leave feeling stronger and more centered. All levels are welcome!


Yoga Flow (All levels) 

Thursdays @ 6:00pm-7:00pm
Instructor: Hemangi Vaishnu

Expect to move with your breath and focus your attention; this well balanced flow class will get you out of your head and into your body and your breath; modifications always welcome. All levels are welcomed and encouraged to join this safe learning space. Yoga mats are provided but you are welcome to bring your own!
