YOGA

Time: Tuesdays 8-9pm

Dates: June 2nd - August 18th

Description: The benefits from yoga include reduced stress, more ability to focus/concentrate, less strains on the body due to work related postures. These yoga classes will be all-levels yang-yin style. Taught advanced in class, while giving modifications to the beginner so that everyone can get something from the class. Yang is the strength focused flowing movement and standing postures portion of class, while yin is the slower, stretch focused portion. We will also work on breathing techniques to help energize and/or relax the body. And some guided meditations to focus the mind.

HIIT

Time: Wednesdays 8-9pm

Dates: June 3rd - August 19th

Description: HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. The workout will include a 35 min HIIT workouts that will get you sweating. Structured with a warmup first and stretches after. For virtual classes people can do from home, there is no equipment required. Just body weight workouts. Think of a fast-paced workout with upbeat music. Lots of modifications available for beginners but is still hard enough for people who work out regularly.
