Condors Esports Name Eric Potts as Head Coach of Call of Duty

Condors Esports are excited to announce the addition of Eric Potts as our new Head Coach of Call of Duty. With his extensive background as an Analyst Coach and experience in esports program development, Potts brings a wealth of expertise and a track record of success to our team. We are thrilled to have him aboard as we embark on a new chapter in our esports journey!

Potts, a respected figure in the Call of Duty community brings an impressive pedigree to Conestoga. As an Analyst Coach for the Boston Breach academy, he honed his skills in analyzing opponents' strategies and optimizing gameplay to secure numerous victories. His meticulous approach and deep understanding of the game quickly earned him recognition among professional coaches.

However, Potts' success in esports goes beyond his coaching achievements. A graduate of Western University, Potts played a pivotal role in developing the esports program at his former school. His passion for Call of Duty led him to establish the university's Call of Duty program, laying the foundation for a vibrant community of gamers and setting the stage for future development.

Potts is known for his analytical approach to gaming, and his philosophy aligns with our team's values. He believes that informed decision-making, situational awareness, and strategic thinking are the keys to achieving victory. With Potts at the helm, we can expect an unwavering focus on analyzing in-game scenarios, identifying weaknesses, and crafting effective strategies to outmaneuver our opponents. His expertise will undoubtedly be a pillar of our Call of Duty program.

Beyond strategy and analysis, Potts has an impressive track record of developing elite players. One shining example is Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez, who was recently named the professional Call of Duty League MVP. Potts played a role in nurturing HyDra's talent, showcasing his ability to unlock and elevate raw potential into undeniable greatness. Another player who has benefited from Potts' prowess is Doug "Censor" Martin of the Boston Breach. During his time working with Potts, Censor has reached new heights in his journey back to the professional level.

Expressing his excitement about joining Conestoga Condors Esports, Potts shared, "I have lots of love for my alma mater, but the opportunity to go from a club program to a varsity program with Conestoga was too good to pass up. I'm really excited about being able to launch the Call of Duty program from scratch, contributing to the ambitious plans for esports at Conestoga. I want to help push the limits for esports at Conestoga and Canadian Collegiate Esports as a whole."

Zack Dodge, Supervisor of Esports Operations at Conestoga Condors, emphasized the significance of Potts' arrival, stating, "Eric has a proven track record in the Call of Duty community where he has made an impact in the tier 2 and collegiate scene with an impressive success rate. His ability to identify and develop players is what will make Eric so important to our program as we grow and create strong competitive teams."

With Eric Potts joining us as Head Coach for Call of Duty, Conestoga Condors Esports is entering an exciting phase of growth. Potts' experience as an Analyst Coach, his dedication to player development, and his analytical approach to strategy make him an invaluable asset to our team.
