Women's Soccer Book Spot At Provincials

The Conestoga Condors Women’s Indoor Soccer Team team traveled to Toronto to participate in the OCAA Regionals on Wednesday at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

In the first match, the Conestoga Condors played against the Lambton Lions. Haley Macarthur, the Condors’ forward, was able to score 2 goals. The full-time score was 2-2.

The Conestoga Condors played their second match against the Fanshawe Falcons. Megan Hayes and Haley Macarthur scored for the Condors. The game ended in a tie between the Condors and The Falcons.

Goalkeeper Jessica Burgess made some big stops in both games to keep the Condors provincial hopes alive.

Two draws were enough for the Conestoga Condors to qualify to the OCAA Provincial Championships. George Brown College will host the championships March 30 & 31 at the Ontario Soccer Centre
