Bio

Andrew’s rugby career started in high school at Mayfield Secondary School in Caledon, Ontario. While attending Mayfield, Andrew joined the Brampton Rugby Football Club. Following his graduation from high school, rugby took him to Gaillac, France where he played for one year. When he returned to Canada, he began his coaching career with the Brampton Rugby Club and various high schools in Peel from 2006 until he moved in the Waterloo Region in 2017. During this time, Andrew continued to play for the Brampton Beavers while also attending Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber where he played for and captained their men’s rugby program. In 2013, he decided to make the jump to coaching at Humber with the Humber’s Women’s program until 2019.  

With his move to Waterloo in 2017, Andrew coached with the Waterloo County Rugby Club and various high schools in the Region. In September 2019, he began coaching at the University of Waterloo, where he held the Assistant Coach role for the next 3 years.  

Currently, Andrew works as a high school teacher in Waterloo and resides in Cambridge with his wife and 2 daughters. He is beyond excited to be back coaching in the OCAA with Conestoga
