Service Disruptions & Closures

The Student Recreation Centre will be closed on the following dates:

Closing Procedures Due to Inclement Weather

If Conestoga's Doon campus closes due to inclement weather, the Student Recreation Centre will also be closed. Please monitor the news page on the Conestoga College Website for weather-related updates. 

If the closure occurs midway through the regular workday, we will attempt to contact all class participants. In all cases, rental groups and members should assess conditions before traveling and exercise caution when walking or driving in affected areas.

High Performance Gymnasium

• A high-performance triple gymnasium with maple hardwood sprung flooring and stadium seating (720 seats).

• 19,250 square feet

• 3 Volleyball, 2 Regulation Basketball, 1 Practice Basketball, 9 Badminton

Multi-Function Gymnasium

• A multi-use double gymnasium with a poured plastic compound (rubber) floor with Ariel seating (400 seats).

• 13,650 square feet

• 3 Volleyball, 2 Basketball, 8 Badminton

Fitness Centre

• 8,500 square feet

• Includes cardio, fixed weight, and heavyweight sections

• Feature equipment includes: Woodway treadmills, Woodway Curves, Lateral X Ellipticals, Jacobs Ladder, Upperbody Rope Trainer, Functional Training Cage, and Olympic Platforms

This is not a rentable space.

Indoor Running Track

• A 4-lane, 170 meters (inside lane) poured rubber running track. Please note, running cleats are not permitted on this track.

Multi-Purpose Rooms

• A multi-purpose space that can be separated into 3 rooms via retractable walls. Ideal for fitness classes and recreation programming.

• 3,075 square feet (combined)

Health and Wellness Offices

• This space is home to the Conestoga Students Incorporated (CSI) Health Plan, which includes Massage, Physio and Chiropractic Therapy services.

• Conestoga College offers Athletic Therapy services to all Varsity Athletes. You must be on the roster of a varsity team to access this service. An Athletic Therapist is available to varsity athletes during all practices, home and away games for preventative measures and acute care.

Softball Diamonds

• Conestoga has two softball diamonds ideal for practice and exhibition game use.
