Esports

Condors Esports had a dynamic week with strong performances across our varsity teams while also showing where there is some work to be done if we hope to have all teams land in the playoffs over the coming weeks:

Rocket League – The Rocket League team changed up their playstyle, lightened the mood, and got two reverse sweeps this week against Montgomery County Community College (NACE) and the University of Windsor (NECC)!

Valorant Gold – The Valorant Gold team was matched up against a top-level NECC team in the Legends Division, Blinn College, and put up a good fight but unfortunately lost. Valorant Gold caught a nice win later in the week in ECAC against RPI Red. Valorant Gold also found themselves cracking the North American Power Rankings (hosted by College Valorant Hub), placing our Valorant Gold squad in the Top 30 of North America!

Valorant White – The Valorant White team had a strong start with a map one win against the Mountain Cats (ECAC) but lost the other two maps with close scores. They look to rally back and ahead to next week.

Call of Duty – The Call of Duty team was excellent and dominant this week with a 3-0 shutout, even with bugs plaguing the gameplay against George Mason University through the NACE Varsity Premiere division. The Condors Call of Duty team continued their dominance with two additional wins through CXP.

Counter-Strike 2 – The Counter-Strike 2 team had a sad loss against Stoney Brook, but they are slowly building up skills to compete further in the NACE Varsity Premiere division.

League of Legends - The momentum builds with the Condors League of Legends team as they secure a 2-0 win over Indiana Tech University in the NECC.
