2024 WCSSAA Girls Volleyball All-Star Game Recap

The Conestoga College Athletics Department proudly hosted the 2024 WCSSAA Girls Volleyball All-Star Game at the Conestoga College Student Recreation Center. This exciting event, held on Thursday, March 23rd, 2024, was an excellent display of talent, a gathering of community, and a celebration of sportsmanship.

The evening kicked off with the Junior Girls' game at 6 PM, followed by the Senior Girls' game at 8 PM; the games showcased the best local talent from the WCSSAA region, providing a platform for rising stars to shine.

Sports have a unique ability to bring people together, and as attendees filled the stands, it was evident that the spirit of camaraderie was alive and well, with families, friends, fans, and volleyball enthusiasts joining forces to support the participating athletes. These athletes not only showcased outstanding skill and talent but also embodied the values of excellence in athletics. Their performances were a testament to their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Four stand-out athletes were selected by Conestoga Condors Women’s Volleyball Head Coach Kelly McGuire as game MVPs. From the Junior team, Sara Burch of BCI & Ava Floras of Glenview Park, and from the Senior teams, Ryan Hull of CHCI & Calinda Kok of PHS.

The Conestoga College Athletics Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. We are proud to provide a platform for the next generation's athletes to shine and look forward to welcoming you to future events as we continue to build our athletics community here at Conestoga College.
