Women Volleyball Recap - November 17, 2019
November 17th, 2019…KITCHENER – It was a nail biting afternoon of volleyball today at Conestoga’s Student Recreation Centre.
The Conestoga Condors women's volleyball team entered the match looking to continue their winning streak. Despite their best efforts, the St. Clair Saints dominated the court with their attacking power and won 3-1 against the Condors. Set scores were (22-25, 21-25, 25-20, 23-25).
Although the Condors fell short against the Saints, they showed determination with the help of 12 digs by Holly Phipps (Kitchener, ON) and 9 kills from Sammy Gwozdz (Waterloo, ON).
What's Next?
Conestoga Condors women’s and men’s volleyball team play against the Humber Hawks on Nov. 23 in South Gym. Game time is set for 1.p.m. & 3 p.m., with the matches being streamed on ocaa.com
