Bio

Jack Hutcheson was a member of the College Faculty from November 13, 1967, until his retirement on June 30, 1985. As a Professor of Accounting, Jack was known for his teaching ability and his efforts in helping students. Jack was an advisor to the Student Association in the early days of the College. He was the College's first golf coach, a position he held for 17 seasons. He was also O.C.A.A. Golf Convenor for many seasons. 1987 Jack received an O.C.A.A. Shield Award, signifying his years of service to that association. Jack was a strong advocate of the Athletic Program and provided much behind-the-scenes assistance when the Conestoga College Recreation Centre project became a reality. Jack also supported the Hockey Condors and was the official scorer and announcer for the home games for many years.
