Conestoga Condors Esports

Do you dominate an esports title?

Conestoga Condors compete in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC). We are dedicated to creating an Esports community here on campus (and virtually) to highlight the talent of our student population in gaming!

Select Condors Esports teams also are provided the opportunity to qualify and compete in other major collegiate and developer lead leagues like: NACE, CVAL, CLOL, and CRL.

The 2022-2023 Esports season will include the following titles: 

  • League of Legends 
  • Rocket League
  • Valorant

NECC Schedule Layout

Preseason Activation Tournament

  • Early September &  Late January 
  • A placement tournament to determine divisional placement within NECC 

Fall Season

  • September to November
  • Weekly matches
  • Post-season play begins November 14th, 2022
  • Games will be broadcasted through the NECC Twitch Channel

Winter/Spring Season

  • January to April
  • Weekly matches
  • Post-season play begins April 17th, 2023
  • Games will be broadcasted through the NECC Twitch Channel

Nationals

  • Groups begin the week of May 1st
  • Bracket/Knockout Stage begins the week of June 12th 

NECC Scholarships

All national NECC champions will receive scholarship prizing to be used and distributed by Condors Esports.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time registered Conestoga College student for the entire duration of the season 
  • Must adhere to an academic GPA of 1.5 or higher (As of 2022/23)
