Waterloo Esports Hub Advances with "Soft Launch"

The Conestoga Athletics and Recreation department is excited to share the "soft launch" of the Waterloo Esports Hub!

Starting Tuesday October 4th, we will be operating from 2pm-8pm and offering strictly console gaming while we wait for the safe arrival of our PC's. 

You can find the Esports Hub at the Waterloo Campus, 2nd floor, room 2A28. 

We welcome you to participate in drop in free play and register for nightly tournaments in various console based titles like SSBU, FIFA 23, NBA2K, Mario Kart, and others. 

Some important notes and next steps:

• You must be a current FT students at Conestoga College to utilize the Esports Hub.
• You must have your ONECard present to loan out equipment.

• • We recommend you create your profile with your personal email account, not your Conestoga credentials.
• We will also be holding a few "walk in" spots for each evenings events, while spaces last! 
• Please arrive 30 mins before your event begin to ensure your pre registration is locked in.
• Event access and registration will vary as we have limited hours and equipment to accommodate.  

We have SO much more to offer when the Esports Hub is ready for its full scale grand reveal, but like a good video game - the experience comes with needing to test, troubleshoot and manage delays. We thank you for your patience and truly hope you enjoy this space designed to help our esports and gaming community flourish.
