Condors Appoint First Esports Supervisor

Conestoga Athletics & Recreation Department has recently hired Zack Dodge in the position of Supervisor, Esports Operations. With over 10 years of leadership experience in the student association industry, Zack is prepared to develop the future of Condors Esports. Zack will work out of the John W. Tibbits Campus, located on University Avenue and oversee Conestoga's new esports facility, competitive teams, esports programming, and community development. With an academic and professional background stemming from multimedia production, public relations, marketing and events, Zack's portfolio is driven by collaboration, student interest, and building genuine and effective relationships. 

As a lifelong gamer, Zack has had a rich gaming career as an industry consultant & advocate, video game tester, competitive gamer, and tournament coordinator. Zack possess the valuable attributes to be able to speak and advocate for gamers and navigate student affairs to help all stakeholders find success.  

Zack shared why he's excited to join Condors Esports:

"My ultimate goal through the role of Supervisor, Esports Operations is to create a home and platform for esports in our college and local community. Current and developing athletes need the tools, facility, leadership and advocacy to find success. Along with aspiring our prospective gamers with a destination to compete, play, develop and navigate an exciting career in the field of their choosing. The world of video games and esports builds a community of players that have such diverse and valuable potential to apply to numerous industries. If esports can be the front door to an athlete & students career, it excites me greatly to help provide the programming, guidance, and opportunities to help them find their full potential. This industry makes me excited everyday as a player and now even more so as a contributor and leader in the field."
