Esports

With playoffs in full swing, a few of the Condors Esports teams have unfortunately been eliminated, but the journey continues for those still in the competition.

Valorant Gold: In a spectacular performance during NECC’s semi-final, Valorant Gold soared to victory against OTSU Varsity. This achievement propels the Valorant Gold team into the NECC finals, where they stand on the brink of potentially securing the first championship for Condors Esports.

Rocket League: Although eliminated from NECC, the Rocket League team's NACE playoff run is thriving with a convincing win against UW River Falls. This places them in the finals, offering another opportunity to bring home a championship for Condors Esports.

Counter-Strike 2: An intense battle unfolded as our Condors team faced off against the St. Clair Saints Academy team. Winning map one, facing a rulebook setback in map two, and securing victory in overtime on map three, our CS2 team now advances to the NACE finals. They, too, have a chance to claim the first championship for Condors Esports.

In Other News: This past weekend, the inaugural WaterLAN event, hosted by Conestoga College and the University of Waterloo, took place. The event featured the Rocket League tournament portion hosted by UW and the Valorant tournament portion hosted by Conestoga. Despite finishing in 3rd place in both tournaments, a fantastic turnout marked the beginning of Condors Esports establishing itself among the powerhouses.
