What do you consider your Personal Highlights and Accomplishments during Condor Varsity Career?
Being Co-captain and MVP, and seeing how much we grew as a team.

What were some of the benefits of being a Condor Student Athlete?
Most importantly, you’re gaining a second family.  You are surrounded by a group of teammates that are there to support you and push you physically and mentally.  Along with the coaching staff that was always there for you AND our trainers and physical therapists that made sure we were healthy and safe.  Also, having access to a great facility was a great benefit.

How did experience as a Conestoga athlete help you after graduation?
Playing sports has always taught me skills that I use on an every day basis.  Athletics taught me how to be a leader, and also step back and be a team/group player. Being part of a team aided in my chosen path the way that I know that I can keep pushing until I get to where I want to be.  Physically and mentally I am stronger.

How did you transition from Conestoga to your current position? What factors were instrumental in securing a job within your field?
I learned the most while being out in the field.  You can read textbooks all day but real life is different everyday.  I am grateful my program had a placement and I was able teo see what everyday look like.  I encourage everyone to take placement opportunities seriously, and if your program doesn’t off that, volunteer!

What advice would you give to your younger self, and current student athletes toward being successful and enjoying the experience?
Stop caring about what others think of you.  You’re not going to get along with every single person you meet. What matters most is that you are doing the bestyou can, and being your authentic self! Don’t hold back.

Is there any other information you would like to share about yourself?
I have landed 2 professional roles so far since my time graduating Conestoga.  One was entry level, now I am in a specialist role.  Don’t worry if you don’t get your ideal job right off the hop.  Building experience and Working your way up is very valuable in the long run.
