Men's Basketball Recap - November 4
November 3rd, 2019…KITCHENER – The Conestoga Condors Men's Basketball team picked up their first home win of the season this afternoon after defeating the Canadore Panthers 88-81.
The Condors came out hot and refused to let up all game. Conestoga’s Avery Sutton (Kitchener, ON) led the Condors offensively with 26 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds. Shequell Gilgeous-Glasgow (Kitchener, ON) had a notable performance as well contributing 23 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds. Efosa Agbonze (Kitchener, ON) made a double-double, with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
“The final score of the game reflected the defensive game played on the court” stated Head Coach, Matthew Buckley as he was pleased with the way the team played this afternoon.
What's Next?
The Conestoga Condors Men’s Basketball will tip-off against the Sault College Cougars on Nov. 9 at Sault Ste. Marie. Game time is set for 8 p.m. with the game being streamed on ocaa.ca
