A Great Start for Men’s Rugby

The Men’s Rugby team played host to the visiting Sheridan Bruins this past Saturday, for what was the first match of the season.

With only 6 returning players from last season, some of the key returning players and new recruits for the Condors proved to be a great mix for the Condors lineup.

After much back and forth action the Condors would break open the offence with Samuel Seabrook (Guelph, ON) scoring the first Try of the season for the Condors to put them up 5-0. The next three Try’s would be from the Condors as well. Jake Malyk (Ariss, ON), Zach Snider (Waterloo, ON) and Tyrell Greaves Sibbick (Loretto, ON) would do the scoring for the Condors, with Seabrook adding another Try to his tally.
The Bruins would respond in the second half with a nice half field Try by Tristian Hylton-Hastings.

The Condors also made 2 converts, one each by Snider and Greaves Sibbick. The final score was 29 to 5 in favour of the Condors.

Next up: The Condors travel to Barrie on Friday the 20th to take on the host Georgian Grizzlies.
