Bio

The 1980-81 hockey season at Conestoga College was very special. It was the first season of hockey that the Condors had the opportunity to play at the new Kenneth E. Hunter Recreation Centre. The Conestoga's new Recreation Center was also to host the Canadian College Athletic Association Hockey Championships the same year.

The team comprised some outstanding athletes that the late Bob Noble and Assistant Coach Dan Young coached. This team had the number 1, 2, and 4 scoring leaders in the O.C.A.A. Dale Wilson and Dana Sauders were two of the top players on this team who were inducted into the Hall of Fame before this team’s induction.

At the C.C.A.A. Championships in March, the team stepped up and did us proud by winning the Bronze Medal. This was the first Medal that Conestoga College had won at a Canadian Championship.
