Wesley Lau Dominates as Condors take down Mountaineers

The Conestoga Condors Men's Volleyball team dominated the Mohawk Mountaineers in straight sets Saturday with a 3-0 sweep. The first set was a thrilling one as both teams battled back and forth with the Condors coming out on top 28-26. The second set was also a good battle with the Condors taking that one 25-22. And the Condors were just too much for Mohawk as they handled the Mountaineers with relative ease winning the third set 25-18.

Wesley Lau was a force to be reckoned with again for the Condors as he had his way on the court with 21 points and 18 kills. His 18 kills led the way for the Condors who improved to 5-3 on the season.

Alex Bowden chipped in with 13 kills himself, and Brendan Vandergeest had a strong game for the Condors with 9 kills.

Up next for the Condors

The Condors (5-3) will visit the Humber Hawks (7-1) in the final matchup of 2018. Conestoga will look to finish the year strong as they take on a very good Humber squad.
