Women's Basketball Recap - November 22
November 22nd, 2019…KITCHENER – The Conestoga Condors women's basketball team defeated the Mohawk Mountaineers 78-70 on Friday evening.
Both teams played a very physical game with the Condors leading at 35-33 at the end of the first half. Going into the third quarter, the Condors stepped up their game play and outscored the Mountaineers 28-12 by the end of the third. This led to their victory against them. Conestoga’s Jamila Beckford (Waterloo, ON) made 20 points and 9 rebounds, Maddy Weber (Kitchener, ON) made 22 points and 14 rebounds, and Alisha Glendinning (Plattsville, ON) made 20 points and 9 rebounds.

The Conestoga Condors women’s basketball will tip-off against the Lambton College Lions (5-3) on Nov. 29 in Sarnia, ON. Game time is set for 6 p.m., with the game being streamed on ocaa.com
