Activity: Ladies Who Lift

Schedule: Wednesdays @ 3:00-4:00pm beginning May 14th, 2025 

Location: Multi-Purpose Room

Instructor: Emma Clark 

Ladies Who Lift is a female-identifying only program that is a safe, welcoming space to learn everything you need to feel comfortable in the fitness centre. This program is designed to change each week to target all major muscle groups in a variety of ways. We want to help you increase your strength and most importantly your confidence in and out of the gym.

Activity: Women's Only Sports

Schedule: Fridays anytime between 2:00pm-6:00pm beginning May 16, 2025

Location: North Gym /  Doon Soccer Field / Doon Ball Diamond

Instructors: Student Leaders / Varsity Athletes

Discover the excitement of our women's-only time slot at Conestoga Recreation. Every other week, dive into a fresh sport experience with structured learning sessions on one side of the gym, while the other side offers drop-in games and pure fun. Whether you come solo or with friends, all skill levels are welcome to develop abilities and enjoy physical activity together.

 

Activity: Women's Only Badminton Tournament

Schedule: Friday, July 4, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm

Location: North Gym

Join Athletics and Recreation for a women's only Rec Day Badminton tournament. This exciting tournament will include friendly competition, prizing and a great atmosphere. This tournament will be a doubles tournament, Rec Staff will help you find a partner if you do not have anyone to play with!

Activity: Extramural Women's Cricket

Schedule: Tuesdays from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, running from May 27 to August 5.

Location: North Gym - Student Recreation Centre

The extramural women’s cricket team is back for Spring 2025 and invites all female-identifying students to join! This team competes in one-day tournaments as part of the Ontario Collegiate Recreation league, offering a competitive experience without the demands of varsity sports. Tryouts are open to all Conestoga students—no SRC membership needed to try out, but those selected will need one for the term.
