Fitness Centre Orientation

 

New to the Fitness Centre or haven’t worked out in a while? Need a quick reminder on how to use all the different equipment? Sign up for a Fitness Centre Orientation with a certified Condor Fitness Ambassador to provide you with an orientation to resistance training and cardiovascular machines. 

Our Ambassadors will review how to use the fitness equipment safely and correctly, as well as demonstrate proper form and progression for future workouts. Additionally, they provide a workout card notating seat adjustments, repetitions and number of sets performed, and proper weights utilized. 

Please come prepared to workout out in exercise attire and proper footwear. 

Please note: This is not a personal training session conducted by a personal trainer; all appointments are completed by our Fitness Ambassadors who are Conestoga Fitness and Health Promotion students eager to help you become comfortable and proficient in the Fitness Centre. The students are working towards acquiring their Personal training Certifications.
